Everyone and Everything

Was trembling of the Beast

He’d rip you up

Pull out your gourds

And settle in for his Feast

For all the Winter Trails

His Name avails

As the Traveler to meet Least

So with open eyes

And in Great Peril

I must Surmise

I packed my Guns to leave

I went on Safari for my prize

To the Lands that hold the Green Monster

East

Blood chilled cold!

Upon first Sight

Was filled with Fright

But was Astonished

At what I did See

The Green Monster Beast

Fixed his great eyes on me

My first defense was to cry out!

For a Priest

It was then I realized

With great surprise!

It hadn’t any teeth!

Blinding fear!

Had completely left out

This possibility
