The trees stand tall all around me
The breeze
Whistles through the branches
Bereft of leaves
Daringly reminding!
The change of the season
Hath begun!
Old Man Winter hath replaced comfort
The time of the sun
The brusque frigid wind shuns
The bitter cold sharpens the mind
The Solstice growing stronger
Through space and time
Land and sea icily entwined
Biding the pulse and rhythm
Towards the rapturous invigorating re-wind
To sumptuous newborn Spring
Awaits alas
Amid the dream Ursidae imagines
Hibernating!
Nature’s beckoning
The frost to prickly bear
Soon to grumpily awaken
Endure the chilling gelid allure
Until Savor Faire!
Voila!
The flora are reborn
The bees and butterflies airborne!
The fauna and the creatures of the sea pulsating
Alive!
The will to survive
No longer forlorn
Man and the Universe!
Continue their symbiotic trek
As the saplings and evergreens
Oak and Maple glean
What doth the future bring?
Discerned most subtly
Silently
Via the One’s will ultra spanned
Fledgling leaves apparent now
Ever present
Brightening!
In the life-giving airstream
Branchy shadows reach out to the forest
Dispersed via the rays of sunshine
Nature reveals as a hand
