Diamond
Crystal structure
Solid carbon
Light-giver
Highest sound velocity
Thermal conductivity
A gem to the nth degree
Pyramid
Apex
Less mass
Towards the pyramidion
Majority of its mass
Close to the ground
Monumental
Built for Emperors and Kings
Throughout the world
A symbol of man-made ingenuity
Of which doth
The One
The Universal Seer
Seeker beseech?
For the working class people!
Down-trodden poor
Women
Men
Children
The elderly
And the babies
Via a social uplifting economy!
A sparkling fat middle class
As it postulates
Celestial fates
In Deuteronomy
And all around of me!
Pyramids are entombed
With massive income inequality!
Living on in exalted infamy
The economy!
Says the feminine deity
A social net for the poor shows piety
Must be built as a worker’s diamond!
Not a pharaoh’s pyramid
With a burgeoning middle class for posterity
