When society is such arrayed

GroupThink only allows fealty

To the ennobled leaders

Of the day

Loyalty

Submission

And anti-protest

Are most popular attributes

Amongst the knaves

When compared

You will find the thought process

Shares a commonality

With the owners of the slaves

And the anti-democratic Trump-boot-licking simpleton Insurrectionists

Attacks against the Capitol Police brave

Democracy is only truly formed

When everyone has their say

Honest debate

Reasoning

And open discussion

Should propel motion

To the better way

Yet it is emotion

What one “believes”

What the “team” propaganda conceives

That has the greater devotion

And stands tallest

Above the American dream fray
