17th Anniversary

There was a girl
A very young and pretty girl
I admired her from afar
I wanted to enter into her World

Then one day
A very fine and lovely day
I talked with her
And walked with her
Around East Elmhurst way

I came to see
That she was very different
Than me
She spoke in Spanish
We used a translation machine

We fell in love
The very thing you dream it of
She believed in me
And made me see the possibilities
She helped me to rise above

And now it seems
We have come to our 17th Wedding Anniversary
My darling Eva Cecilia Castillo Luna-Reith
There is no place I would rather be
Than right next to you
My Love
