Blessed Dear Reader the Perceiver

My life’s work would be lost in the cloud!

Never interpreted

Scoffed at?

Nor read out loud

Without precious patrons of my poetic blog

My writings would merely be

As aimless as the hovering fog

Drifting anonymously

In the vast hinterland

Of the ether

Awaiting tacit acknowledgement

Of its present disillusionment

Or gravitas!

Via its firm believer!

The artist cannot be thwarted by the blessed perceiver

Either way he must stay

Above the flattering/ fluttering fray

Be true to thine own!

Creative passions!
