Once a government sanctions
Separating families and locking children up in cages
They have officially made a statement on their mortal lives
These “others” are not worthy of basic decency
And must necessarily be deprived
Of their Providence given human rights
The emotions conjured
Inure against these families poor
A heightened megalomania to their strife
Juxtaposing superiority from inferiority
Discarding the sanctity of human life
Till madmen emerge as destructive locusts
With mind and soul focused
For social mayhem
To appear clear in their sights!
