What a great friend you’ve been!

Since I held you when you were just a wee tot of your Mother born

Looking into your dark brown beady eyes
After your triumphant delivery I sworn

To love and cherish you each morn!

Until the dawn of time

You bring strength and joy to all of my rhymes
You are intelligent, patient, and kind

The measured pleasant steady student to my unvarnished salty workingman’s brine

You have been a fine young man!
A chip off the old block with a steadier hand

On this All Saint’s Day

You would be my first pick on my baseball team’s starting nine

Now it is time
I most cheerily say to you my lad!

Happy 15th Birthday!

Enjoy all the merriment from a proud toiling father that can be had
