As being a melting pot!
Where our welcoming nature
To all freedom seeking immigrants
Our nation’s greatest value!
T’was taught in public schools!
Later on as a 101st Airborne trained soldier
I proudly trained at Fort Campbell
Daily for war
With the most dedicated of crews
Alas I feel now
What hath happened to my flag endeavored vows?
A shot across my fellow soldier’s bow?
A bitter betrayal! O the heathen sentiment doth supplant all manner of gracious nobility!
From those who support
Penning up children
Ripped apart of their mothers
As if she a sow
Fanning the flames
Of faux patriotic outrage
At those who merely seek brighter clouds?
Is Un-American!
It taints our beloved soldier’s sacrifice
Covering and smothering our promised American Dream values
Which hath led so many of our ancestors out of the shallows
With a Nationalistic hideous shroud
