Ending the War on Drugs!
That is a public health and social policy I can support!
Throwing shade at the illegal drug trade
Which necessarily demands
For the communities safety strand
Much police and law enforcement support
Relinquishing drug gangs of their illicit profits
The drug users necessarily move along
The proverbial willing cohorts
Better Civic Business
To utilize drug utilization education
And comprehensive medical services
For all in the communities!
Than the prisons and the courts
Government assists
Minority Legal Marijuana Small Businesses
As a way to reform
Yet most “reasonable” people say
Too radical a position to strive for!
Oh no! Just Say No!
Shall we have real policy change!
Or our chance at more political Kumbaya!
Do they know why the Africans in Zaire yelled
“Ali!” Bomaye!
To kill a Big Beast
Ala George Foreman
One must strike at the heart!
Altering forever the system that remains
Progress cannot be stained
From injustice re-done
The Origin must be taken apart
Whole not in parts
The Incorrigible penal leviathan
In which the rotten edifice starts!
