The supposition is complex

Whilst also being plain

Ignoring history as it were

Disappearing the human pain

Only serves to arm the hunter

To bloodthirstily go

After the lion again

All the children in the entire wide world

Should be regarded as a dear friend

Historian professor Howard Zinn

With noble persistent activist chagrin

Stated it earnestly

Correctly

For all progressive change makers

This factual citizen refrain

You cannot be neutral

On a moving train

For it will come a day

Your heavenly ride

Will surely come to an end

War is never for the people”s democracy!

Tis only to meet the wealthy conquerors ends

The brave activist’s message

Will live on

Throughout all of posterity

To those whose toiling struggles remain

Create the indomitable fate of change
