A Communist threat of tariffs via a Celebrity King on the World Stage?
Not a Consumer!
Yet a Citizen of The New Age?

And political fusillade
This is the work of

But a Chief Petty Officer!
Who suckers self described Patriots (Never served nary a minute in any of the Armed Forces)
Out of their morals, ethics, and cheap seats
Adorned in disunity!
Superiority!
The worship of money!
Who sleep comfortably numb
Under unclean
Believed religiously as pristine
White colored “ignoramus”sheets
Will there be an outcry?
If rich white people’s children
Are being killed by
Vigilante police misconduct
For petty crimes in polite society?
September brings the fall
The beginning of it all
The air outside is cool
The children back in school
It’s the time for a 1st down
Go offsides and your the clown
Down and out might bring us joy
Statue of Liberty is the ploy
Holding ain’t allowed
Riotous cheering from the crowd
A safety ain’t really secure
Don’t forget about the draw
A hole is good for your screen
Taunting may be seen as too obscene
The Shotgun pledges a down field pass
Hail Mary’s are looked on with aghast!
Field goals are not in the primary plan
Touchdowns are extraordinarily grand!
Sacks are filled with pain and dirt!
Punters and place kickers need to remain alert!
Tight end screens are set up through a ruse
Fumbles means the football is loose!
Interceptions do not bring the affected team together
Games are played in all kinds of weather
Tackles make their opponents bait!
Do not forget to partake in the fan’s tailgate!
So let’s all hope we get on a roll
And our team takes home
The trophy at the Super Bowl!
A boy was born with another
His Brother
Together they were raised
In the zygote smothered
With Mother
Nature was to blame
For igniting this identical flame
The twins played together all day
Walked the streets in the same clothes unfazed
Everyone knew their names!
Life together was fanciful and gay!
Until one day
The eldest as a teen
Was slain with a mental illness
The days spent at the sanitarium
Portended a correlation stillness
Who could exact such debilitating cruelness!
Nature was to blame
Either way each day
Would rain
With the pain of knowing
Things would never be the same
Lost in the schizophrenic wilderness
Will you turn back the dial?
Or leave the reprieve exiled!

The first step to disposing of a problem is admittance
The Blue Wall of Silence affirms tacit support
For black and brown lives being a pittance
Otherwise why not call out the Copper Ripper bad apples?
Remove them immediately for being a social menace!
(Along with any other appropo punishment)
Then you can show penance
There is no doubt that police officers are courageous!
Working with the community
Through accountability and transparency
Would certainly be for the NYPD advantageous
As well as not putting all of Society’s ills
At the boot of their nightsticks
Handcuffs and prison cages
Utilizing a hammer only in polite society
Stirs up a cacophony of hatred
On both sides
Which in turn only encourages
Rages!
