I am feeling so dapper

Debonair and quite there

As if I could serenade

No charade!

Any damsel at the county fair

From soft and gelatinous

From a dear feline friend

The Cooks

Teachers

Policemen

Firefighters

Construction workers

Crop pickers

Gardeners

Etcetera

You know who you are

Before your last guttural gasp

Trip to the cosmic stars

Take a deep breath
Enjoy your stay

Rest and relax
Your worries away

May your earnest lessons
Be yet not lost in the summer breeze

May your most sincerest acts of kindness
