I had a strange and wonderful dream
It was in a land all filled with emerald green
A bag-piper appeared
Wearing an enormous ring
He sang to me
I’ll take you to my King!
Along a lush viridescent and rainy terrain
With grass as luscious as golden grain
A great verdant castle did we confront
Guarded by a big eared little runt
He opened up the pearly gate
Admonished us for being late
There was a great big hall
Entertaining a giant feast
When all went silent
Both man and beast
A figure appeared
Why it was the King!
Oh! he was such a little thing
All bowed as he stood up
And in a loud voice his little lordship did say
The time has come for all of us to pray
With joy to all and to none dismay
I wish all Earthlings
And living beings
A Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
